The fellow will have increasing levels of clinical responsibilities for the care of the orthopaedic injuries in these patients. The fellow will also be expected to perform clinical and/or basic science research in the field of Orthopaedic Traumatology.
The fellow will work closely with our full-time trauma faculty of five fellowship-trained orthopaedic traumatologists.
The one year program features a variety of research opportunities, including clinical research using Orthopaedic Trauma or General Trauma registry. The fellow will be intricately involved in new and ongoing prospective clinical studies. There is also an orthopaedic biomechanic lab available.
We offer one fellowship position per year, with a stipend of $50,000. Qualified applicants will have successfully completed an accredited orthopaedic residency and be eligible for an Ohio medical license.
