Curtis Ross: Transplant Keeps Patient Singing Uplifting Tunes
Over the years, the Heritage Chorale has wowed audiences across Ohio as well as around the world. Curtis Ross, despite being dependent on dialysis treatments for chronic kidney disease, has been there for each and every note.
In fact, the staff at University Hospitals Transplant Institute coordinated with hospitals in Rome, Florence and Venice to provide treatment for Curtis during his 2004 concert tour. And last year, when a matching kidney was donated, it was University Hospitals doctors who performed the transplant—something they have been doing successfully for nearly four decades. See more of Curtis's story, including a video.
