Custom Thermoplastic Splints

While modalities generally feel good, they are only one aspect of occupational therapy. Problems like carpal tunnel and tennis elbow have traditionally been treated with modalities and splints that may improve comfort, but do little to address the cause.

Individualized exercises, stretching, nerve gliding, and postural reeducation programs target specific nerves and muscle groups to decrease pain and relieve overworked muscles. Our goal is not just decreasing or eliminating pain while in the clinic. Teaching one how to control or eliminate symptoms independently is paramount.
