Pathology is defined as the study of diseases and the structural changes that result from these diseases. The Department of Pathology is a large, multidisciplinary group of physicians specially trained in investigating and determining causes or nature of disease changes. The department operates a full-service laboratory and is sectioned into three divisions. Three laboratories are located on the hospital's main campus to support the work of clinicians in obtaining and interpreting patient care data.
