Reuben Gobezie, MD, Assistant Professor

Dr. Gobezie is actively involved in the study of clinical problems and treatments related to shoulder disorders.  He has started a long-term study of total shoulder replacements using radiosteriometric analysis in order to help answer questions about the longevity of these prostheses, their ability to replicate 'normal' motion in the shoulder and comparative analysis of various shoulder replacement designs with regard to clinical outcomes.  He has also published on several areas related to arthroscopic shoulder surgery including rotator cuff repair, labral pathology, suprascapular nerve disorders and subscapularis reconstruction.  His research interests continue in these areas as he strives to improve patient care and outcomes through thoughtful study of clinical problems relating to the shoulder.
