At each medical appointment the SIU secretary and medical assistants will check patients in and obtain a weight, blood pressure, and temperature. The medical assistants also draw blood at the end of the visit.
The SIU also employs a financial and intake coordinator, Carolyn Williams, who assists with Ryan White enrollment and renewals, verifies insurance, researches billing problems, and when necessary obtains insurance authorizations.
