The Center for Emergency Medicine and Marcy R. Horvitz Pediatric Emergency Center (CEM) on the campus of UH Case Medical Center provides 24-hour emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art facility. Our CEM offers immediate access to expert specialists and advanced technology in an environment designed to maximize patient comfort, privacy and safety. The CEM is an accredited Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.
Pediatric Emergency Care
Children will be treated in the new Marcy R. Horvitz Pediatric Emergency Center. As the only Level 1 pediatric trauma center in Northeast Ohio, UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is equipped to handle the most serious emergencies involving children. Pediatric treatment rooms are large enough to accommodate family members and are clustered around a central nurse station to maximize staff/patient interaction.
