Even the slightest heart arrhythmia can threaten your overall well-being.

Your heart is the engine that keeps the rest of your body’s systems running smoothly. Any type of irregularity could have adverse, rippling effects and should be treated immediately. Irregularities, or arrhythmias, can range from minor to severe and include:

  • Atrial arrhythmias: including atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardia, atrial flutter.
  • Congestive heart failure: a life-threatening condition in which the heart can no longer pump enough blood to the rest of the body.
  • Ventricular tachycardia: a life-threatening condition which occurs when consecutive impulses arise from the heart’s ventricles at a rate of 100 beats or more per minute until stopped by drug treatment or electrical conversion.
