The professional staff at University Hospitals Bedford Medical Center, A Campus of UH Regional Hospitals' Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center is trained to provide specialized, comprehensive treatment to assist in healing problem wounds. During each course of treatment, our staff will work with patients' regular physicians to assure complete continuity of their medical care.
The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art, outpatient clinical wound care. We are one of the few healthcare facilities in the region to offer both wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy with an extensive medical specialty staff.
At any given time almost six million Americans suffer from different types of problem wounds. Some are associated with complications from diabetes and other related vascular disorders. Other types include pressure sores and traumatic wounds. It can be very frustrating and time consuming to heal these wounds.
