Ranking marks the 20^th straight year the U.S. News & World Report listing has included UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital

UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is once again listed as one of the top 50 children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The publication’s annual listing has included UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital for the past two decades.

This year’s listing saw UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital ranked in all ten medical and surgical specialties:

• Cardiology and Heart Surgery (#41)
• Diabetes & Endocrine Disorders (#13)
• Gastroenterology (#40)
• Neonatal Care (#4)
• Nephrology (#25)
• Neurology & Neurosurgery (#19)
• Orthopedics (#12)
• Pulmonology (#8)
• Urology (#46)

The Division of Neonatology (#4 this year) has ranked in the top five for the fourth consecutive year.

Hospital specialties were ranked using a three-part blend of reputation, outcome and care-related measures such as nursing care, advanced technology and credentialing.
