University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center Welcomes Heidi A. Morris, DO, MHA

Heidi A. Morris, DO, MHAUniversity Hospitals Elyria Medical Center welcomes Family Practice physician Heidi A. Morris, DO, MHA to its roster of primary care physicians. Dr. Morris began accepting new patients on February 2 at Grafton Family Care, located at 489 North Main Street.

Dr. Morris focuses on many areas of health care, including preventative health; routine exams; chronic illnesses such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease and diabetes; as well as well-child and well-woman care; behavioral health and immunizations. She is board-certified in Family Medicine, and has particular interests in medical education, health policy reform, women’s health, pediatric and adolescent medicine and chronic disease management.

Dr. Morris received her degree in medicine from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Masters in Health Administration from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Morris completed Fellowships in Academic Medical Education at NEOMED and in Health Policy at OUCOM. She was part of the Department of Family Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for almost 12 years as Residency Director and Vice-Chair before accepting positions in Virginia and Northwest Ohio as an Assistant Dean at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
