University Hospitals Offers Women’s Health Expo on Feb. 7

Free event features prominent speakers and health information for women

The public is invited to attend a free community education event on Feb. 7 featuring health information of special interest to women.

The ninth annual Women’s Health Expo, presented by University Hospitals, will be held Saturday, Feb. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express & Suites – LaMalfa, 5783 Heisley Road, Mentor. In addition to clinical experts from UH Geauga Medical Center, which has organized the Women’s Health Expo since 2007, this year’s event includes UH Ahuja, Bedford, Conneaut, Geneva and Richmond medical centers.

Expo participants will hear presentations and panel discussions on topics including sexuality, heart health, bone and joint health, menopause, health management and more. Sheryl Kingsberg, PhD, Chief of Behavioral Medicine at UH MacDonald Women’s Hospital, will deliver a keynote presentation on female sexuality.

Free health screenings will also be available and a complimentary breakfast will be served. The event is free but space is limited and reservations are required. Call 440-285-7757 for information and registration before Jan. 30.
