- and more!
All proceeds support UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and the medical innovations and child and family-centered programs that touch hundreds of thousands of children and families each year.
When families are faced with a child’s illness, injury, or other medical challenges, they’ll travel any distance and go to any lengths to get their children the best possible care. Luckily for local families, kids in Northeast Ohio don’t need to leave home to get the kind of advanced care and latest innovations that other families travel across the country—or even around the world—to find. UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is nationally ranked in 9 specialties in U.S. News & World Report’s 2013-2014 Best Hospitals issue—including cancer, neonatology, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, orthopedics, and neurology and neurosurgery. Rainbow also delivered $47 million in charity care in 2011, exemplifying the hospital’s commitment to improving the lives and health of all Northeast Ohio children.
“For 125 years, Rainbow has been dedicated to providing the highest level of patient centered care to all members of the Greater Cleveland community and giving local families access to some of the country’s leading pediatric specialists and innovations at the forefront of pediatric medicine, all in a setting that’s uniquely devoted to the needs and wellbeing of children and their families,” notes Patti DePompei, President of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. “We’re so pleased to have the support of these wonderful Rainbow superheroes who contributed so generously to the Superhero for Day effort and for all the community members who support Rainbow’s mission.”
So unleash your inner superhero and support UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital by taking part in the Superhero for a Day contest. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25, 6 for $50, or 12 for $100.
