UH Geneva Medical Center Personal Care and Cleaning Products Sale to Raise Funds for Auxiliary

Proceeds from January 22 & 23 event will purchase teddy bears for the hospital’s pediatric patients

Ashtabula County – University Hospitals (UH) Geneva Medical Center will present a personal care and cleaning product fundraising event on Wednesday, January 22 and Thursday, January 23. The sale will take place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the lobby of the hospital, located at 870 West Main Street in Geneva.

Proceeds from the sales will benefit the hospital’s Auxiliary and the funds will be used to enhance the patient experience for children at UH Geneva Medical Center.

The Auxiliary has partnered with Ava Anderson Non-Toxic, a company that offers personal care and household cleaning products containing 100 percent healthy, non-toxic ingredients like organic jojoba oil, aloe vera, coconut oil, shea butter and essential oils.

A wide variety of Ava Anderson Non-Toxic products will available for purchase during the two-day fundraiser at UH Geneva Medical Center, including moisturizing hand soap; hand sanitizer; aluminum-free deodorant; shampoo and other hair care products; lotion; makeup; baby products; cleaning sprays; and dishwasher and laundry pods. All products are made in the USA, gluten-free, biodegradable, and most are vegan.

As a result of the fundraising event, the Auxiliary will purchase teddy bears for pediatric patients who receive care in the UH Geneva Medical Center Emergency Department, laboratory and surgical unit.
