Parkinsons Boot Camp Registration Now Open

The Fifth Annual Northeast Ohio Parkinson’s Boot Camp will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the John S. Knight Center, 77 E. Mill Street, Akron, Ohio. To register, visit www.uhhospitals.org/PDbootcamp or call 216-983-5741.

Take control of your PD. Experience this free hands-on event where you’ll learn exercise techniques, mind and body wellness practices and invigorating skills to manage your Parkinson’s. Breakfast and lunch are provided at this all-day event.

Preregistration is required. Seating is limited.

Caregiver Workshop

The year’s Boot Camp also features a special session for caregivers and family members. Availability is limited so please call 216-983-5741 to register for this special workshop. Registration is accepted on first-come, first-serve basis.
NOTE: If you sign up for the Caregiver Workshop and are attending the Boot Camp with a person with Parkinson’s, you must have another caregiver at the Boot Camp so that your loved one with Parkinson’s is not left unattended.
