UH NI Neuromuscular Center to Host EMG, Autonomic Testing Course

University Hospitals Neurological Institute’s Neuromuscular Center is hosting “Assessing Neuromuscular Disease: A Practical and Hands-on Approach to Electromyography and Autonomic Testing” March 9-10, 2012, at the Marriott Cleveland East, 26300 Harvard Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, and University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, Kathy Risman Pavilion, 3999 Richmond Road, Beachwood, Ohio.

University Hospitals Neurological Institute’s Neuromuscular Center is hosting “Assessing Neuromuscular Disease: A Practical and Hands-on Approach to Electromyography and Autonomic Testing” March 9-10, 2012, at the Marriott Cleveland East, 26300 Harvard Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, and University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, Kathy Risman Pavilion, 3999 Richmond Road, Beachwood, Ohio.

This course will focus on the basic concepts of nerve conduction studies, needle EMG and autonomic studies. The program format includes lectures, case studies and hands-on workshops for optimal learning. Participants will have the opportunity to practice nerve conduction studies, EMG and autonomic studies in the laboratory as they rotate through five workshops and directly interact with faculty during these workshops. This course is intended for neurologists, physiatrists, EMG and autonomic technologists, and residents/fellows interested in clinical EMG and autonomic testing.

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.
