System News & Announcements
Communications Survey Available
University Hospitals’ Marketing & Communications Department is conducting a systemwide survey to help assess our employee communications. Through survey feedback, we will determine how well we are communicating and get employees’ ideas for improving our efforts.
We urge all employees to take advantage of this opportunity to help shape the future of employee communications at UH. Don’t be shy; share your insights! All feedback will be treated with strict confidentiality. CRA Inc., a national research and internal communications firm, is working with UH to conduct the assessment. CRA will collect, analyze and report data, ensuring that responses remain confidential and results are impartial.
The survey is available both online and on paper. Click here to be directed to the online version of the survey. Please complete the survey that corresponds with the site where you work most. Management Services Center employees should complete the survey titled MSC. Paper copies of the survey are available through managers, and are attached to the May 12 issue of Monday Morning. Thank you in advance for taking time to help improve communications at UH.

Teen Summer Volunteer Program
Teen Scene is UH’s summer teen volunteer program. This year, the program begins June 16 and ends Aug. 15. Volunteers are placed in many different areas of the hospital, in positions that involve direct patient contact, limited patient contact or no patient contact. Participants must be at least 15 years old and willing to commit to a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer service over a 10-week period.
The purpose of the program is to give teen volunteers valuable experience, and help them learn leadership and communication skills. For many teens, Teen Scene provides their first experience in a professional environment. While making a contribution to the community, students gain exposure to health care professions and may even start thinking about future careers
Please call the Volunteer Services Department at (216) 844-1504 for further information or to receive an application for the Teen Scene program. The deadline for all applications is June 9.
