Valentine’s Day Roses
The Atrium Shop at Case Medical Center is taking pre-paid orders for Valentine's Red Rose bouquets. Orders should be place at the Atrium Shop by 3 p.m. on February 11. The following choices are available: a dozen red roses in a vase for $69.95; a dozen red roses boxed for $59.95.
All pre-paid orders may be picked up between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on February 14 at the Atrium Shop. Visit the shop for a variety of other Valentine's Day gift ideas. Shop proceeds benefit the Auxiliary of UHCMC which fund projects that directly benefit our patients and their families

Construction Corner
Below please find a summary of the anticipated construction projects on and around the Case Medical Center campus over the upcoming weeks.
Dorm Court Road Closure
Dorm Court, the road just north of Mather Pavilion that connects University Hospitals Drive and Cornell Road, is now closed to begin installing fencing around the perimeter of the site of the future Cancer Hospital. Fence installation is expected to be completed by February 13. Excavation and construction will begin soon thereafter. Dorm Court and the sidewalks between Cornell Road and University Hospitals Drive will remain closed throughout the remainder of the construction project.
Euclid Corridor Construction Alert
Reconstruction work is ongoing at Euclid Avenue between East 86th and East 107th Street. Employees can expect the following closures and traffic changes until August:

Harvest for Hunger
University Hospitals is proud to participate once again in this year's Harvest for Hunger campaign. Held each March, this community-wide food and funds drive raised over $2.5 million in 2007. UH raised $25,710 and 4,284 pounds of food in 2007.
UH CEO Thomas F. Zenty III will again serve as honorary co-chair of this Northeast Ohio drive. To prepare for the 2008 campaign, UH is asking employees across the system to sign up as site captains. Site captains will have the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team while collecting food and funds. Captains are responsible for publicizing special Harvest for Hunger events, encouraging fellow employees to donate food and dollars, and assisting with the final collection and delivery of all donations.
