University Hospitals Case Medical Center's Go Red for Women coverage will feature Dr. Marco Costa, Cardiovascular Medicine, in a live interview today on Channel 5's noon newscast. He will be discussing the advances in stem cell research as it relates to the Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Judith Mackall, Cardiovascular Medicine, will be featured on the five o’ clock Go Red for Women story with news anchor Lee Jordan discussing one of her former patients.

UH Network Improvements – Contact the Helpdesk with Issues

The OneNet project is currently implementing a network environment that is highly available, redundant, secure and resilient. The project team is carefully applying the necessary network enhancements which can sometimes have unanticipated results that negatively impact performance. IT&S is seeking your support in consistently bringing network and system issues to our attention through the Helpdesk. If you are experiencing extraordinary slowness or a lack of accessibility to applications, please report the issue to the UH Helpdesk @ (216 )844-3327. If the issue directly impacts patient care, please press #1 to receive priority routing to a helpdesk representative. Reporting the service problem with the Helpdesk will enable IT&S to remain aware of issues, determine resolution and track trends.

Volunteer Tutors Needed at Audobon School

University Hospitals Case Medical Center has a longstanding relationship with Audubon School, located at 3055 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Cleveland, OH 44104. ULead’s Community Involvement Committee in conjunction with the Volunteer Services Department has championed the revitalization of the tutoring program at Audubon. Audubon has a need for tutors in the daytime for the children who are not affiliated with the after-school program but would benefit from individualized attention. The school would like to focus efforts on preparing the children for the Math and Reading Standardized tests which are administered at the end of April. Read More
