The Christopher House

Christopher House, a picturesque country inn located on the grounds of University Hospitals Extended Care Campus, offers comfortable overnight accommodations for visitors and families.

This attractive guesthouse opened in 1985 thanks to the generosity of the Christopher Foundation of Chardon, Ohio, a project started in 1950 by the late Thomas F. Dolan.

Looking at Christopher House today, no one would ever guess that the beautiful inn was once a barn, and that the beautiful chestnut beamed living room was once the tack room.

Within Christopher House are four double bedrooms, a kitchen, and two lounges. Visitors may purchase meals in the Extended Care Campus cafeteria. There is a nominal fee for this service.

Families interested in utilizing Christopher House should contact the Extended Care Campus Department of Admissions or Extended Care Campus Social Services Department at 440-285-4040.
