The iRIS Electronic System is now open for the submission of New studies to the UH Case Medical Center IRB!
REMINDER! Beginning Monday, January 11, 2010 the UH Case Medical Center IRB will require that all NEW protocol submissions be submitted to the IRB Administration Office using iRIS. This includes New protocols (N), New Chart Reviews/ Discarded Tissue studies (NC-DT), New Requests for Exemption (EXMT) and New Requests for Determination of Human Subjects Research (DET).
While we encourage entering all new submissions into the system now, certain exceptions will be made for paper submissions that have already been created in hard copy and are undergoing department vetting and/or scientific review processes.
NOTE: Information about existing studies that have been approved by the UH Case Medical Center IRB and are currently paper-based have not been loaded into the system yet. We are finalizing the uploading of this data and will advise once these existing studies are accessible.
