| Description: |
This research study is designed to study a treatment for ovarian, fallopian tube or peritoneal cancers.
The treatment uses the experimental drug, BAY 43-9006, in combination with two FDA-approved cancer treatment drugs, carboplatin and paclitaxel. |
| Criteria: |
Participants must be at least 18 years of age and must have recurrent, measurable, epithelial ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal cancer or fallopian tube cancer that is considered platinum sensitive. Participants must have received prior therapy with a platinum-based regimen before study enrollment. Participants must have adequate bone marrow function and must not need an IV to stay hydrated or for nutritional support. Participants of childbearing potential must agree to use adequate contraception. |
