This research study is designed to compare the effects of different types of antioxidants (vitamins that may protect against cell damage) to help select the best combinations of antioxidants for future, larger studies. The levels of chemicals in the blood and in the brain and spinal fluid (cerebrospinal fluid) will be measured to see how well and safely different types of antioxidants can be used in patients with Alzheimer's disease. |
| Criteria: |
Participants must be between the ages 60 and 85 and have been diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. |
