Today, following a major 2003 investment and restructuring initiative, the enhanced Rehabilitation services at UH Richmond Medical Center encompass remodeled and expanded facilities, and upgraded physical and occupational equipment. These improvements reflect a new commitment to full-service inpatient and outpatient acute care, including stroke recovery therapy.

The staff of Physical Therapists, PT assistants, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Aides and Speech Therapists forms a vital link with many other departments at the hospital – especially Orthopaedics and Pain Management. Our Rehabilitation services are also available for Saturday outpatient scheduling.

Providing convenience in addition to individually designed rehabilitation programs is part of our commitment to developing a positive, healing relationship with each patient.
