The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition provides consultation and/or comprehensive care for all gastrointestinal and nutrition disorders.

A specialized team approach is available for home nutritional support, and diagnosis and management of complex childhood motility disorders. UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital's pediatric gastroenterologists have trained at the nation's leading institutions and combine exceptional clinical training and experience with an attentive and compassionate approach to patients and their families.

The focus of our work is always the patient, from evaluation and diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.

Full Service Diagnostic Center

Many studies for children require deep sedation which is safely provided by the Pediatric Sedation Unit at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. All biopsies are read by Pediatric Pathologists. Our Diagnostic Lab utilizes State of the Art equipment designed for use in children of all ages even neonates.
