PT/Rehab programs are designed to help patients return to optimum function after an injury, surgery or illness that has impaired their orthopedic or motor functions. The fully-certified PT/Rehab department works closely with the patient’s referring physician throughout the patient’s course of rehabilitation.
Physical Therapy / Rehab Services include:
- Therapeutic Exercise Programs, including strength-building, range-of-motion, balance exercises and aerobics
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation
- Neurological Rehabilitation
- Sports Injury Rehabilitation
- Geriatric Rehabilitation
- Functional Activities, including gait training and weight-transfer
- Back and Neck Care Programs, rehabilitative and preventive
- Ultrasound
- Electrical Stimulation
- Therapeutic Massage
Reserved parking for PT/Rehab patients is marked by signage on (and adjacent to) B-Building for the convenience of patients and their drivers.
Each patient’s return path to wellness is unique. Upon diagnosis and/or assessment, a course of rehabilitative techniques is recommended. Assessments are also made at each subsequent therapy session. Patient participation and cooperation by attending each appointment as prescribed is integral to rehabilitative success.
