Thieme Medical Publishers is wrapping up production on the second edition of Surgery of the Craniovertebral Junction, a single volume book by experts in the field of intracranial and spinal surgery that includes an interactive DVD with detailed anatomy models and case examples, edited by Nicholas C. Bambakidis, MD, along with Curtis Dickman, Robert F. Spetzler, and Volker K.H. Sonntag. The new book will be available in June 2012.
The second edition offers updated chapters on endovascular surgery, endoscopic surgery, spinal surgery and instrumentation, minimally invasive treatment modalities, and nonsurgical options.
