UHC Performance Enhancement Series is a program for injury prevention and improved performance.
The Performance Enhancement Series is designed to be a twice-weekly, 6-week program consisting of plyometrics, strengthening and speed training. Our programs will be scheduled with a small class size (2-3 participants up to a max of 10) to allow an ideal instructional environment.
The Performance Enhancement Series consists of plyometric jumping (rings, hurdles or boxes), upper body band series, Ladder, 3-D Dumbell matrix, Core/Abdominal strengthening, stretching and heavy band work.
The Performance Enhancement Series has been shown to improved speed, function and vertical jump(which correlates to athleticism), while decreasing injury rates and improving rate of return after injury. Participants should be able to carry the program onwards upon completion for further improvement.
Program content includes: Pre and Post Testing on (Vertical Jump, Standing Long Jump, Agility/Speed T Test), Plyometric Jump station includes (Sportmetrix jump series to assist in prevention of ACL injuries, especially in the female athlete), Upper Body Band Series (Meta Back Meta Chest), Ladder, 3D Dumbell Matrix, Shuttle relay, Core & Abdominals, Stretching, Heavy Bands/Sport Cords.
