The SIU prides itself on its interdisciplinary approach to patient care. No need of the patient is overlooked, from medical needs to social and emotional needs. Each discipline is available during clinic visits so that coordinated services are provided in an efficient manner for each patient.
Physicians
Each of our caring physicians is board certified in infectious diseases. Patients meet will with their physician regularly for HIV primary care and clinical evaluation. At visits, a treatment plan is developed, labs are monitored, immunizations are given, and referrals are made.
