University Hospitals Harrington-McLaughlin Heart & Vascular Institute is a premier cardiovascular-care center in Northeast Ohio. We provide complete diagnostic and therapeutic patient services, and pursue cutting-edge research to develop new treatments.

Our goal is to create a national center of excellence in cardiovascular research and physician education, as well as patient care.

Our patients benefit from access to nationally recognized talent working in state-of-the-art facilities, with 11 centers of specialization staffed by teams of some of the country’s foremost experts in cardiac and vascular surgery, electrophysiology, cardiovascular imaging, minimally invasive interventions, heart failure treatment and transplantation, atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias, stem cell regeneration and prevention strategies.

Working in close consultation with referring physicians, we offer patients a comprehensive continuum of care, from routine examinations to the most advanced operative procedures and post-treatment follow-up.
