The 4th Annual Black & Blue Ball Raises Funds for NOHF Programs and Services

May 15, 2009, was the date for The Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation's 4th Annual Black & Blue Ball. The event was held at Windows on the River, which provided a beautiful backdrop for close to 300 guests.

Abby Normal and the Detroit Lean raised the roof with their eclectic style, complete with a 3-man horn section. Other excitement during the evening included a 50/50 raffle, a wide-screen TV raffle and both silent and live auctions. An autographed Lebron James basketball raised $2,300 in the live auction with some very competitive bidding action. Other impressive auction items included an Hawaii stay with airfare, Tiffany jewelry, golf for 3 at Firestone Country Club and a private tour of the Channel 5 TV studio. The signature "Black & Blue" auction item included a blue denim jacket with black mink fur trim.

The event raised approximately $65,000 for the Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation. Thank you to all who supported NOHF's annual gala!
