Advancing Health Professionals Through Continuing Education Opportunities

As a leader in the treatment and research of digestive diseases, University Hospitals Digestive Health Institute physicians and staff know that knowledge and continuous education are vital aspects of growth and development. We provide a variety of learning opportunities and specialized services for medical students, residents, fellows, physicians and other health care professionals

Residency and Fellowship Training Programs

One of our institute’s important functions is teaching future generations of digestive health physicians through our residency and fellowship programs. In collaboration with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, we offer a three-year residency program in internal medicine, followed by a three-year fellowship training program in gastroenterology and hepatology, with a potential fourth year in advanced therapy endoscopy.
