In response to the growing need for digestive health care across Northeast Ohio, we are excited to announce the creation of University Hospitals Digestive Health Institute.
The establishment of the institute introduces an integrative model of care that coordinates the efforts of our multidisciplinary teams and provides advanced, comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. Individuals have access to gastroenterological and surgical consultations with our experienced team of specialists all in one convenient location.
This unique approach to health care also gives our patients accessto state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies through six new Centers of Excellence, including:
With the upcoming changes to national healthcare coverage, we are hopeful that patients will have access to more gastroenterological services, including preventative care such as GI cancer screening.
