The Pediatric Epilepsy Center at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and University Hospitals Neurological Institute has been recognized as a Level IV center by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. We offer easily accessible, comprehensive services that are provided by a team of dedicated medical, surgical, nursing and other experts.
We ensure a seamless flow of care from the first outpatient visit to an inpatient video EEG evaluation for diagnosis and treatment of seizures with antiepileptic drugs, epilepsy surgery, vagal nerve stimulator or the ketogenic diet. Children with epilepsy who face additional health issues have access to the specialized programs that UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital offers as a nationally recognized full-service pediatric hospital.
