University Hospitals Bedford Medical Center, located in Bedford, Ohio, is a 110 bed, private, non-profit, full service, acute-care community hospital. Originally founded in 1908 as a 4 bed unit on the second floor of a private home in Bedford, the hospital has grown through the years to keep pace with an ever expanding population and their demand for high quality, accessible medical care. The most recent additions to our services are a Heart and Vascular Institute, offering invasive and non-invasive procedures, an MRI Suite with separate entrance and parking, and, coming in the spring of 2008, a Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center.
