Fellowship Overview
The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, offers a three year Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship training program for graduates of accredited pediatric residency programs.

Our goal is to prepare our fellowship graduates for rewarding careers in PEM.

We emphasize the importance of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine specialist’s involvement in the clinical care of children in the Pediatric Emergency Department (PED), in clinical investigation to advance knowledge in the field, and in advocating for the special needs of acutely ill and injured children at every level of the pediatric emergency continuum from prevention and prehospital care to the PED and beyond.

Our fellowship program curriculum is designed to provide our graduates with exceptional clinical skills,  administrative expertise in the management of a Pediatric Emergency Department and experience in the education of health care providers at all levels and , research experience that promotes future involvement and success in clinical research.
