One of our largest projects is our Sleep and Epidemiology Research Center (SERC). In 2006, we are actively recruiting adults to participate in a clinical trial on how snoring may indicate higher risk for diabetes. Read more about eligibility for this study. This trial will give us a chance to ask a very important question: “If we treat people who have a tendency to have sleep problems, will we be able to prevent diabetes in those who are predisposed to it?
