UH MacDonald Women's Hospital is an integral part of University Hospitals Case Medical Center the primary teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

The resident education program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UH MacDonald Women's Hospital, is a fully accredited four-year program.

UH MacDonald Women's Hospital is one of only eleven free standing women's hospitals in the United States, and, except for electives, our program is based entirely within UH MacDonald Women's Hospital.

In 2006, based on the proven strength of our educational program, the RRC allowed our residency cohort to increase to 5 residents per year.
