Amanda Weiss Kelly, MD

Dr. Weiss Kelly is a board certified Pediatrician and Sports Medicine specialist. She completed her Pediatric Residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital / University Hospitals Case Medical Center. She then completed a two-year Sports Medicine Fellowship at University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Weiss Kelly has completed her CAQ in Sports Medicine. She currently serves as Team Physician for Laurel School. Dr. Weiss Kelly sits on the AAP Committee of Sports Medicine and Fitness Executive Council.

Susannah Briskin, MD

Dr. Briskin is a board certified Pediatrician and Sports Medicine specialist. She completed her Pediatric Residency and Chief Residency at UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital / University Hospitals Case Medical Center. She then completed a two-year Sports Medicine Fellowship at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Briskin subsequently completed the CAQ in Sports Medicine. She currently serves as Team Physician for Hathaway Brown School. Dr. Briskin is active on AAP Committee of Sports Medicine and Fitness projects and the AMSSM Education Committee.

Louis Leone, DO

Dr. Leone practices family medicine and sports medicine in Chardon, OH. Dr. Leone serves as the AOA Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Director. Dr. Leone is also the Program Director of family medicine at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center, A Campus of UH Regional Hospitals. Dr. Leone has been involved in medical education for 15 years and has received multiple teaching awards. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at UH Richmond Campus of UH Regional Hospitals and his Sports Medicine fellowship at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Dr Leone is board certified in Family Medicine and has achieved his CAQ in sports medicine. He serves as Team Physician for Chardon High School.

Michael Rowane, DO

Dr. Rowane is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice and the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromuscular Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He previously served as the Residency Director of the CWRU/UH Case Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Rowane received the honor of Fellowship of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Osteopathy. He is the Chairperson of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine OPTI. He has served on multiple committees for the American Academy of Osteopathy, Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, Cleveland Academy of Family Physicians and the Cleveland Academy of Osteopathic Medicine. He is presently Co-Chairing the AAO Task Force on developing a national academic/faculty development fellowship in NMM/OMM for the osteopathic profession Dr. Rowane has been the Project Director for two HRSA Grants for Graduate Training in Family Medicine. He has frequently presented both locally and nationally and has published multiple articles and book chapters in family medicine, faculty development and osteopathic oriented topics. Dr. Rowane has received numerous awards from the Department of Family Medicine for his teaching and enhancing the residency program, as well as for his role as a mentor for the CWRU medical students. He serves as the GME director for the AOA Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Rowane interacts with the fellows through the Neuromuscular Medicine elective, longitudinal faculty development programs with fellows, and core-curriculum lectures on Neuromuscular Medicine.
