Primary Care Sports Medicine Conference
Weekly conference focusing initially on exposure to musculoskeletal exam and providing sideline care for athletes. Topics broaden to then encompass material with a focus for Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) preparation. Mini-seminars will include “The Physician as Teacher” and “Coding and Billing.”
Pediatric Fellows Conference
Monthly conference to provide exposure to relevant areas for all physicians including: ethics, preparing research projects and negotiating the IRB, and development.
Pediatric Orthopaedic Clinical Conference
Weekly conference reviewing radiographic findings of all pre-operative and post-operative cases for Pediatric Orthopaedics.
Orthopaedic Grand Rounds
Weekly conferences through Department of Orthopaedics focussing on evidence-based medicine of Orthopaedics, review of “hot topics”, and basic sciences.
Pediatric Grand Rounds
Weekly conference through Department of Pediatrics addressing emerging issues in the field, reviewing areas of interest to sub-specialists, and illuminating evidence-based medicine.
Sports Medicine Journal Club
Quarterly meetings with fellows and Primary Care Sports Medicine Attendings to discuss “hot topics”.
