Lori Stevic-Rust, PhD, ABPP is a graduate of Kent State University with a doctoral degree in psychology and a masters degree in community counseling. She completed an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan with specialty training in clinical health psychology. She has been awarded a Diplomate from the American Board of Professional Psychology in Board Certified Clinical Health Psychology (ABPP).

Dr. Stevic-Rust has worked in the field of clinical health psychology for twenty years. She is the Director of Assisted Living & Dementia Care Programs here at our Extended Care Campus. Her expertise and commitment to research of multi-sensory environments for those with Dementia, including Alzheimer’s, are perfectly aligned with the ongoing efforts of University Hospitals and the Dolan Center.

She has developed innovative therapeutic programs for residents in the moderate to late stages of dementia, including clinical use of a multi-sensory environment to reduce agitation. This therapeutic programming truly sets us apart from other memory care centers and underscores our promise to deliver the finest care in a safe, secure setting.
