UH Bedford Medical Center, located in Bedford, Ohio, is a 110-bed, private, non-profit, full service, acute-care community hospital. Originally founded in 1908 as a 4-bed unit on the second floor of a private home in Bedford, the hospital has grown through the years to keep pace with an ever-expanding population and its demand for high quality, accessible medical care. The most recent additions to our services are a University Hospitals Harrington-McLaughlin Heart & Vascular Institute, offering invasive and non-invasive procedures, an MRI Suite with separate entrance and parking, and a Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center.
