University Hospitals Employee Direct Access (EDA) and Learning Management System (LMS)

As an employee you have direct access to your personal information, including your learning, which saves you time by eliminating the need to access, complete, and deliver paper forms.

Employee Direct Access allows you to:

  • View and print your pay advice
  • View and update your current address and phone numbers
  • Change your Federal tax withholding or direct deposit information
  • View your current benefits and select benefit elections during open enrollment periods
  • View salary and performance histories.
  • Request a Leave of Absence
  • Change your state tax Withholding
  • Navigate with clearer menus

The Learning Management System allows you to:

  • Enroll in learning opportunities and view learning history
  • Record External Learning events attended
  • Attend online classes

You can use EDA and the LMS from any computer that can connect to the Internet. This means you can view and update your information at home or at work, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We understand that not all employees have access to a computer every day, so we encourage you to ask your manager or your Human Resources Representative about where you can access EDA/LMS while at work. EDA and the LMS are secure applications that are part of our Oracle business system. User IDs, passwords, encryption, and other measures achieve security.

UH Email

OWA is used to access e-mail, calendars, contacts, tasks and other mailbox contents while on the go. Microsoft provides Outlook Web Access as part of Exchange Server to allow users to connect remotely via Web browsers. Most of the functionality in Microsoft Outlook is also available in this web "look-alike". Employees can log onto UH OWA at mail.uhhospitals.org
