Intro: This clinical research study will evaluate whether an FDA approved medication for enlarged prostate will improve sexual function.
Condition:
Description: This clinical research study will evaluate whether an FDA approved medication for enlarged prostate will improve sexual function. The study involves having a physical exam, completing questionnaires about urinary symptoms and sexual function and taking study medication for 3 months. Participants will be asked to make 3 visits to the research study urologist during the course of the 4-month study.
Criteria: Participants must be men who are between 45 and 74 years of age and are sexually active with a steady partner. Participants must also be diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and have urinary problems and erectile dysfunction.
