The Senior Adult Assessment Program is a comprehensive evaluation that includes:

• Medical evaluation
• Medication review
• Psychological evaluation
• Memory testing
• Competency evaluation
• Occupational therapy home safety assessment
• Physical therapy evaluation
• Social service assessment

Recommendations and follow-up are made with the patient families, primary care physicians and agencies involved.

Referrals are made to community agencies, physician specialists and for a functional driving assessment.

*The functional driving assessment includes a vision test and an evaluation of cognition, reaction time, perception, judgement in a simulated driving examination.
