University Hospitals Extended Care Campus was formerly known as Heather Hill. University Hospitals purchased this historic site in 2005 which was founded in 1939. A 150-acre estate, which includes 60 acres of timber, five natural springs, several homes, a carriage house, granary and barn. Several of the original buildings are still being utilized today for a guest house for overnight visitors, an administrative office building, and an education training center.
