Teen Scene Volunteer Program
What is Teen Scene?
Teen Scene is the teen volunteer program at University Hospitals Case Medical Center that takes place during the summer months, and is designed for students age 15 until graduation. The purpose of the program is to empower teens with leadership and communication skills and provide them with exposure to the hospital environment, while contributing to the community.
It is recommended that you apply early. Space in the program is limited and the program fills quickly.
The program will take place from June 15 to August 14, 2009.

Commitment
Volunteering can be a fun activity and very rewarding, but it is also a very serious commitment. Volunteering requires that you be willing to learn, work hard, and be responsible and open to new experiences.
Participants in the program volunteer weekly over an eight week period and must be available during regular business hours, weekends and evenings are not available. Participants volunteer 3-4 hours per week and are not permitted to volunteer over 12 hours per week. No service hours will be released until the minimum of 29 hours has been completed.
