Teen Scene Volunteer Positions

Teen Scene Volunteer

Clerical/Reception: If you like to assist in an office setting by greeting visitors, answering telephones, filing, copying, and working with computers, this position is for you. Gain experience in a professional office environment or supportive waiting area and learn new skills in various areas throughout the hospital.

Book Cart: Hospital patients often feel isolated and bored. By offering a smile, along with reading materials, playing cards, simple craft kits or word searches, you can help ease these feelings and make a difference to patients.

Atrium Gift Shop: Do you love to shop and enjoy helping others make gift choices? A volunteer position at the gift shop will involve greeting customers, assisting with the selection of gifts and purchases as needed, and stocking shelves. May also include some cashiering.

Reach Out and Read: Imagine a world where all children are read to and have the chance to enjoy books on a regular basis. For many of our patients, being read to is a rare treat! Volunteers are needed to select books and share stories with infants and children in the waiting area of our outpatient women and children’s clinic. In doing so, you can enable young children to gain an appreciation for books and excel at reading, a vital skill for success in life. Positions also available in MAP (Multi-disciplinary Ambulatory Program) and Dental Clinic.
