Two Physician-Scientists from University Hospitals Case Medical elected to the American Academy of Microbiology
CLEVELAND – Michael M. Lederman, M.D., and Michael R. Jacobs, M.D., Ph.D., from University Hospitals Case Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, have been elected to Fellowship in the American Academy of Microbiology.
Fellows of the Academy are elected annually through a highly selective, peer-review process, based on their records of scientific achievement and original contributions that have advanced microbiology.
Dr. Lederman is a member of the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. He is an expert in HIV/AIDS. Dr. Jacobs is the Director of Medical Microbiology at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and a member of the Department of Clinical Pathology. |
