Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence 2009-10

UH Case Medical Center the Only Hospital in the Nation With Four Beacon-Designated Intensive Care Units

The UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) received the Beacon Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. The UH Case Medical Center Medical Intensive Care (MICU), Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) and Cardiac Intensive Care Units (CICU) have all received the award this year making UH Case Medical Center the only hospital in the nation with four Beacon-designated intensive care units.
